May This month mostly consisted of editing the prom bloopers. It was a bit difficult because of having to go through all the clips and finding the ones that were funny. It took me a couple days, because of jazz.
April Getting closer to may everything become very busy. Prom also happened to be this month. Insted of actually going to prom my friend and I filmed it! We filmed all of red carpet, the crowning, and most of the dance. Overall it was pretty successful and we got some pretty great shots!
March This month was spring break. The music department planned a trip to San Antonio. It was interesting for the most part. One of our buses blew a tire about an hour in , so there was that. We finally arrived to our hotel around 11, yet another obstacle was the fact that there wasnt any hot water. Overall the trip was sucessfull, my highlight was the river walk.
February This month has consisted of mostly editing the video we filmed. My friend does most of the editing so I usually work on the script for our mini series. I also try to brainstorm new ideas.
January Taking a solo has even lessened the time I have for digital media. My friend and I took on the task of making a video called in between. It is similar to the series jubilee has called middle ground. The goal is to make both sides of a controversial topic to kinda understand the other side of an arguement.
2017
December While still being busy with jazz, my friend an i decided to make a did you know. Our did you know was about the benefits of drinking apple cider. It was kind of a last minute video, but i thought it turned out pretty well.
November This semester has been rough. I haven't had a chance to be in digital media much. Jazz has been my primary class this past nine weeks. However while I am in here I assist my friend with a script we're preparing.
October I have returned to video production for my second year. The only downside is the fact that i only have this class 2-3 days a week. I am currently taking video production opposite of jazz band. Me and yami a class mate of mad also in the same situation have been tossing around many ideas and set around 2-3 goals for the year. Our biggest goal is making a mini series, then a short silent film. I have a good feeling we will hopefully accomplish our set goals.

September You know that feeling when you walk into the wrong classroom. Yeah that was my first week of digital media. It was a completely different learning experience. With other classes we usually have some type of knowledge or experience. Soon after we started we soon started our radio ad. It was overwhelming at first , but our teacher guided us through most of it to ease the process.
October After finishing our radio ad we soon started our commercial. I had no idea what to do so I settled for juice comercial. It turned out okay the matched action was so bad it was funny. Yet some of my shots turned out pretty good ,and I was especially pleased with the nature ones. i did get some help from my friend so after all I am pretty proud of how it turned out.
November Last month we finished our comercial it went well. We learned about parallel action for a few days then Mr.Holt let us try it. For this video he let us have partners so that made shooting the video pretty fun. Nate and i made our video a short skit about a "robber" who turned out to just be a presenter.
December After we finished our parallel action video we started our public service announcement or "PSA". At first my PSA was going to be about drug abuse but it ended up turning into a suicide prevention video. My video was about a girl whos life goes downhill very fast. This video turned out very nice. I was very pleased with how it turned out. We soon finished our PSA then started our Christmas video. I decided to make a green screen dinosaur video. It wasn't very good since it was my first.
January Being gone for about two weeks for Christmas break I think we would all agree we needed a refresher course. We were given free range with our video. I chose to do stop motion seeing how my attention was always drawn to it. I watched many videos thinking it would be simple see how easy the made it look. I was completely wrong it was not as simple as i once perceived it to be. The camera was my mother which caused me to struggle a bit with the images being blurry. In the end it turned out alright not my proudest moment.

March Most of this month was used to learn about the tricaster. The tricaster is the machine we use to record and use cool green effects. Its much more complicated than using things like movie studio and such. Watching videos eased the learning process along with the research we did. The sound mixer was pretty simple after learning we only used row one and two.
April-May During these last months we were given smallish project that turned out harder than i initially thought they'd be. We first made a one minute video that turned out well in my opinion. Where everything went wrong was with the swish video. The first time i shot my shots were really good. I liked the footage, but when i looked at at it the swishes were not done well. The second time i shot wasn't bad but it wasn't as entertaining as the first time.
